Golden Age Auto Club Show 2010...

Annual Show & Shine
Saturday June 5th and Sunday June 6th, sponsored by the
Golden Age Auto Club, this two day event drew car lovers
from all over the Maritimes, and this year included an
expanded
flea market in The AgriDome. Selection ranged from
auto parts & accessories to craft items, goods for home
& garden and much more!

 The third annual
Atlantic Horse Fair took place Saturday, April
17 and Sunday, April 18. Lots of Maritime horse
lovers of all sizes and ages turned out to enjoy demos,
clinics and trade show offerings. Clinicians from
all over Canada offered a variety of interesting
presentations, and vendors for every conceivable kind of
equine & pet related item displayed their wares in the
AgriDome trade fair. With plenty of
 food,
kids & dogs, plus horse races on Sunday, a good time was
had by all!
The AgriDome
adapted well to the special needs of the Horse Fair
Trade Show, allowing direct access for motorized
vehicles onto concrete flooring, but providing cushy
astro-turf in the booth and canteen areas for the
comfort of shoppers.
With the
light and warmth levels in the venue, the green field of
colourful booths, animals and people seemed more of an
outdoor country fair than a business expo.
Specials thanks to the canteen staff who went to bat
(and another building), for a photographer with a major
french fry craving!

The AgriDome allows for
shoppers to stroll from comfy astro-turf to
concrete flooring for vehicles, petting zoo
and even a ferrier's live horseshoeing
demonstration. The natural light and
acoustics give the feeling of an outdoor
fair, in any weather, tailor-made for the
needs of the Atlantic Horse Fair. |
